SCOPE & oBJECTIVE:In the advanced countries for the past one and half decades the limit state design forms part of teaching at the under graduate level. The latest revision of IS 800-2007 which is based on limit state method incorporate several new provisions for rational design of steel structures. This revision is also in line with the prominent international codes of  practice for steel construction. Hence the objective of this short term programme is to equip the professional from academia, research and industry with state of the art knowledge in limit state design of structural steel and code provisions of revised IS 800 and hence enable them to   impart such knowledge in turn to the students which is in the curriculum of Indian universities at the undergraduate level itself. Professionals from the industry can use in the design  application.

Students                                                              :Rs. 250

PAYMENT:

The registration Fee is to be paid in advance by DD favouring “principal  MSRIT”, Payable at Bangalore. The Registration fee will be refunded to those applicants who are not selected.   Applicants who are selected but, do not attend the course will   forfeit the registration fee. TA/DA will not be given to Participants. Participants should make their own arrangement for accommodation.
