About M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology
Dr. M S Ramaiah, a Philanthropist, founded ‘Gokula Education Foundation’ in 1962 with an objective of serving the society. M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) was established under the aegis of this foundation in the same year, creating a landmark in technical education in India. MSRIT offers 18 UG, 13 PG & Ph.D. programs. All these programs are approved by AICTE. VTU & UGC have conferred the prestigious autonomous status in the year 2007. RIT is the first institution in Bangalore to receive this for both UG & PG programs. All eligible UG & PG programs are accredited by NBA. The institute is accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC in March 2021 for 5 years. As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), MoE, Government of India, MSRIT consistently ranked among the top 100 Engineering Colleges since inspection of NIRF and has achieved 75th rank among 1314 top Engineering institutions of India for the year 2024 and 21st rank for School of Architecture.
To promote research culture, the institute has established Centre of Excellence for Imaging Technologies, Centre for Advanced Materials Technology, Centre for Antennas and Radio Frequency systems, Centre for Cyber Physical Systems & Schneider Centre of Excellence. The Digital Library of RIT subscribes to online e-journals from Elsevier Science Direct, IEEE, Taylor & Francis, Springer Link, etc. MSRIT is a member of DELNET, CMTI and VTU E-Library.
The Departments of Basic Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of RIT have been recognized as research centres approved by VTU. All the departments have a team of well qualified and dynamic faculty with a passion for research. There are about 500 research publications from the three departments in the last five years. The Humanities department established in the year 2008 is devoted to teach Constitution of India, Professional Communication, Life Skills and Kannada Language to B.E/B.Arch students.
About The Conference
The First International Conference on Applied Research in Engineering Sciences was jointly organized by Department of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Humanities, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore during 24-25 November 2022. We are now pleased to host the Second International Conference on Applied Research in Engineering Sciences (ICARES 2025) at Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru during 20-21 February 2025. ICARES 2025 will provide a platform for the researchers to share & update their research knowledge in respective fields. This multi-disciplinary conference aims to provide an opportunity for academicians, researchers, scientists and industry experts to present the results in theory, methodology and applications of different areas of Engineering Sciences and Social Sciences under one roof. It is a good platform for the researchers to understand & address the technical challenges and establish collaboration for productive result. The scientific deliberations will cover a wide range of topics spread across Plenary, Invited talks and Contributory papers.
We warmly welcome experts, scholars and entrepreneurs to participate in this international academic exchange activity in the field of applied sciences. We hope that ICARES-2025 outcome will lead to significant contributions to the knowledge base in these up-to-date scientific fields.
Call for Abstracts/Papers
Authors are invited to submit their original research work as one-page abstract not exceeding 250 words in the field of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Humanities, as per the template. The abstracts will be reviewed and acceptance for oral/poster presentation will be informed to the authors by mail. It is planned to publish the presented papers in Scopus indexed journals/Proceedings with ISBN no. All the submitted manuscripts will be subjected to double blind peer review process for publication. Authors are informed to use the template available on conference website.
