Dr. Jagadish S Kallimani is working as Professor and Head in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning of MSRIT. His areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Natural Language Processing, Sentiment Analysis, and Ethics in Machines.

Dr. Jagadish S Kallimani received his BE degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Karnatak University, Dharwad in 1999, MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi in 2004. He secured his PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada in 2015. He joined MSRIT in 1999 and having over 22 years of service in teaching many subjects for UG and PG students. He worked in various capacities as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and currently as Professor. He has over 90 publications in National and International Conferences and Journals and actively involved in research activities. He also published two patents and a text book in his research domain. He is a life member of ISTE.

Under his guidance, one student has been awarded with PhD degree and currently five students are pursuing their research work.
