The Governing Body of MSRIT initiated an Academic Review of the Institute during April-May 2013 with a view to enhance the quality, standard and relevance of its programmes and activities. The review was conducted by a Review Team of the Governing Body comprising Dr. B.S. Sonde (AICTE nominee), Dr. Syed Shakeeb Ur Rahman (VTU nominee) and Dr. S.Y. Kulkarni (Principal, Member Secretary). The review included:
1) Designing and Administering of Feedback response Questionnaires
2) Conducting visits to identified facilities on the camps
3) Preparing the draft report of the Review Team based on information collected and inferences drawn under Steps 1 and 2.
After a detailed analysis, an Action Plan was created and implemented from February 2014.
A second Academic Review was conducted in 2016 to monitor the progress made at the Institute and identify the difficulties faced, if any. For this purpose a review team comprising Dr. B.S. Sonde (AICTE nominee and member of Governing Body), Dr. S. S. Prabhu (Expert Advisor, IIIT-B) and Dr.N.Venkatarathnam Naidu (Principal and Member Secretary of the Governing Body). A review of the previous Action Plan, created in 2014 was also conducted.
